preservation of what the Great Master and the Gitacharya were telling.
The actual purpose is not served at all; and to be more frank, the commentaries have made the original text all the more complicated by putting the bare truth under Coverings or misconceptions. This is the mistake that warns us to take a very critical view.
In other words we increase our own limitations by adding more and more complexities to it. I can in this connection tell you a very good feeling that was expressed by one of the abhyasis, accustomed to sing stotras or hear some songs - all Divine. He said, those things are affecting my meditation and therefore I am leaving that. Very few people have got that much of wisdom to arrive at. Because we try to continue to recite those slokas or poems, songs etc all in the Divine name. During meditations you can surely do it otherwise. But his objection was not that of doing it otherwise. He says
