Sri Ramchandraji Maharaj(also affectionately called Babuji) was born on Sunday, the Baisakh
Badi Panchami, 30th April 1899 at Shahjahanpur, U.P, India. His father was Rai Bahadur Sri Badri Prasad. He was an honorary Special Magistrate I class. His mother was Smt Yashoda Kunwar. From early childhood he was showing unique qualities of Mahatmas in his action and behaviour. He was balanced. He never suffered from the impulsive craving for food even when he was very young. He would eat only when food was offered with love and concern.
