Grihasta
Sri Ramchandraji was married at the age of 19 in 1918 at Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Sri Krishna. His wife was Smt. Bhagwati. Even while doing his sadhana regularly, he led an active grihasta* life. He was blessed with six sons and three daughters. However,
two sons and one daughter died during infancy.
Babuji was quite alert regarding the education, fees and clothes etc. of his children. He never forgot the date of their school fees and on every second or third month, he used to enquire about their clothes and other necessities of life. If the children fell ill he, himself got them treated well and never forgot to bring medicines on his way back from the court. Not only this, he remembered even when the flour was grounded and when it would be finished. Very often he kept enquiring from the girls regarding the needs of the family.
His wife Smt. Bhagwati passed away in 1949. He bore all the afflictions and grief he went through, with a state of balance and accepted every event as a gift from Divine for his good.
