The country which has talked about sacrifice, as a way of life for a grihasta, today has come to a condition that sacrifice is a difficult word to find in a grihasta’s life. The fourth God is the Athithi. And I don’t think, of him, the first God himself is not welcome, where is the fourth God? Fourth God is not welcome. This is the unfortunate state to which we have descended .One has to understand that this life is a product of the sacrifice of the divine. That is the essence of the Veda itself. The Purusha Medha has happened and therefore this existence here. If God has not sacrificed Himself, there would be no existence at all. So the principle of life itself, the principle of existence itself, is based on sacrifice and we do not seem to fall in line with it.
