Ihaikastham jagatkritsnam pashyaadya sacharaacharam; Mama dehe gudaakesha yachchaanyad drashtumicchasi. (11-7)
O Gudākeśa (Arjuna), behold, (here) in my body concentrated, the entire universe, moving and not-moving and also anything else you desires’ to behold.
न त ु म ा ं श  स े   मु न ने वै  च  षु ा । िदंददािमतेचःु पयमेयोगमै रम॥्
Na tu maam shakyase drashtum anenaiva swachakshushaa;
Divyam dadaami te chakshuh pashya me yogamaishwaram. (11-8)
But you will not be able to behold Me just with your own eye. I give you the eye Divine. Behold now my Divine transcendence.
On witnessing the scene of Virat, even Arjuna cried out that he could not bear to see that dreadful sight.
वापिृ थोिरदमरं िह ांयकै ेनिदशसवाः।   ा  तु ं  प म ु ं त व दे -ं लोकयं िथतं महान॥्
Dyaavaaprithivyoridamantaram hi
Vyaaptam twayaikena dishashcha sarvaah; Drishtwaa’dbhutam roopamugram tavedam Lokatrayam pravyathitam mahaatman. (11-20)
